It's pretty hard to see here, but Jonathan has suddenly acquired a whole mouthful of teeth. He went from having two to having ten in about five days and now has half his molars, three of his four front top teeth, and is working on cutting another handful. He's getting good at taking bites out of things, but oddly enough he doesn't try to eat anything unless he sees someone else eating it. He doesn't chew his toys and he won't even eat food like a breadstick until someone takes a bite out of it. Then of course he tries to cram the whole thing in at once...but it is nice having a kid who's not much interested in putting everything in his mouth.
