We bought a new carseat two weeks ago because he's outgrowing the newborn seat. The problem is that he isn't comfortable sitting up straight so we needed one of those expensive carseats that are on an adjustable base and lean backwards. I priced them and found they were in the $150 to $200 range, which is pretty steep for us. Then, wonder of wonders, the next subdivision over had a neighborhood garage sale and there was tons of practically-new baby stuff out for sale. I bought this carseat for $35 dollars. Jonathan approves. Except when he goes to sleep - then his head still flops forwards. He also grabs onto the straps when we're trying to get him out and makes it really tough to disentangle him...gotta get him to stop that.
